Angela sorting out her harness at the base of the chimney we decided to
climb. We could tell from all the vegetation that this route sees
considerably less traffic than the other Spires we'd climbed. In this
shot, Spire Five is actually to the left of the chimney even though the
Spire on the right looks taller. That is Kampsite and just appears
taller because it was closer to the camera. This picture is deceiving
in many ways as it makes the chimney look shorter and less steep than it
really is.
