As it turned out, my brother had never actually been to the 'top' of Elkhorn
Mountain as it is guarded by a maze of tricky gullies and chimneys.
Once we reached the end of the 'hiking', though, I couldn't resist the urge
to find a route that went all the way up. We succeeded, finding a
route with a few sections of third-class terrain such as this low-angle
chimney blocked by a chockstone.
