In May 2002, we took my brother, Jarvis, and his wife, Gina, climbing for
the first time. We took them up Inner
Course since it is easy and fun. We hadn't yet taught them to
belay--so Angela got a work out belaying both of them and me from the top of
the route. She was especially tired when I arrived swiftly across the
easy terrain.
