On top of our very first Black Hills' climb, Goatskin (5.7), on July 8, 1999.  This climb, which is a mere 30 feet tall, took us nearly three hours to find.  Funny thing is, if we had know where we were going it would have probably been a five minute walk from the car, but we ended up wandering in circles, trying to convince the rock to match the descriptions in the guidebook.  As it turns out, this wouldn't be the last time we had trouble finding and/or identifying a climb in the Hills.
