
Finally we stopped by Blue Gramma to check out this unnamed 5.9+ (the
right-hand of the two cracks above). From the approach we couldn't
quite tell how big the crack was so we had no idea if we would have the gear
to protect it. When we got up to it we found a WIDE hand crack that
looked like it would take #3 camalots most of the way. Angela and I
turned are packs inside out and found five #3's inside. That and a
larger piece or two seemed like it ought to be sufficient for the mere 50
feet of climbing, so I decided to give it a go.
