Craggin' on the Northeast Buttress

At the suggestion of Frank and his guides, on Sunday we decided to check out the cragging possibilities on the Northeast Buttress.  While flipping through the guidebook it looks like most of the climbs are pretty hard here, many of the climbs have easier first pitches that can be climbed by themselves.  It sounded like it would be a fun, social place to go climbing for the day.  Plus, we'd never been on that side of the Tower before and we love checking out new places.  So, after a great breakfast at the Devils Tower Lodge, we headed there with Will and Alison.  Also heading to the Northeast Buttress that day were our friends Patrick and Brian, who had just been introduced to trad climbing the day before, and Rick who had his eyes set on climbing something difficult with Frank.  The following pictures tell the rest of the story.
