As rope began to run short on the first pitch I came to a suitable ledge to belay from. To my pleasant surprise I discovered a solid (old pins) fixed anchor! "We must be doing something right," I thought to myself.
As you can see from the picture, the sun was still low in the sky and the peaks around us were really starting to glow. The O'Hara Valley was still in the shade, so I imagine most people back at camp were still sleeping! Too bad for them!
