Another steep wall!Pitch Ten

I finished up pitch nine by setting a belay at the base of yet another steep wall.  I reeled in Angela and remember seeing an exasperated look on her face when she arrived and saw yet another pitch of steep climbing above.  It was nearing three o'clock.  Our chances of making the 4:30 bus were diminishing rapidly.  If we ever did find the top, we still had to sort out how to get down!  The last chance bus would be leaving camp at 6:30.  Hopefully we wouldn't miss that one.  If we did, what then?  By the end of the day we would be out of food and have little choice but to either beg or hike the 11km back to our car.  Where would we end up sleeping tonight?  We were really having an adventure now!

As soon as we had re-racked, I was up up this next wall.  Like much of the terrain we had covered previously today, the climbing was steep but only moderately difficult.  Had we not been in a hurry, I wouldn't have minded this pitch going on longer.  As it was, we were both up it in just over 10 minutes.
