Climbing upwards again, this time to Big Shovel Pass. The trail was
rutted and muddy in places, however, we were astonished at the amount of
work that had been put into building a drainage ditch next to the trail for
quite some distance. Little Shovel Pass, which we had gone through
earlier, is in the center of the photo.
